2 sequences from different songs together

I have to 2 songs with different sequences and programs that sound hot when thier coincile with each other...Im guessing thier not a way to do this with MPC2000 so the only way is to record both sequences on my DAW and then sample them together.. Is this the case or has anyone tried anything different and it work just as good

Yep. Or copy each track from one seq to the empty tracks of the other.
