Assigning pan-settings to 8-out? Help!

I'm tracking my productions in Ableton Live via the MPC's 8-out extension. I figured out how to assign efx to different channels, but I can't figure out how to assign the pan settings (e.g. when a stereo sample is panned all the way to the left) to e.g. channels 3/4. Does anybody know how to do that?

Thanks for your reply. However, I already know how to assign the samples. The thing is; You are able to pan a stereosample all the way out to the left in the MPC mixer. This is reflected when assigned to the 2 main outs. However, it is not reflected when assigned to e.g. stereo-channel 3/4 (8-out). Is there any way for stereo-channel 3/4 to reflect the pan-settings from the mixer, which the main outs reflect just fine?

you could convert the samples to mono

or if you pan the sample in 3/4 all the way left then it will only come out 3.

I assume this is what would happen? not sure
