Panning on my MPC2000XL...QUICK HELP, PLEASE!

hey guys...i need QUICK help.

i sampled a sound (yes, in stereo) from my keyboard. now...i wanna make the sound play about 75% LEFT when i hit the pad.

where do i do this at?

i need to know within 2 hours!!!

Can't you just change the pan for that channel (pad) on the mixer screen (shift+7)

Go to the mixer screen, hit the pad you want to pan, use the direction pad (up arrow) to select the pan knob at the top of that 'channel' and then use the data wheel to change the pan.

now...i had a question about panning.

say i pan 75% to the left...will it MOVE the sound to the left or will it play that PART of the sound?

it depends its from your keyboard so probably just move the sound.

if you sample from an old record you may lose sounds according to how they recorded.
