Resampling on the 2000xl

is there a time limit on this or does it naturally freeze? i have never read anything on it in the newer OS updates but is this another thing fixed with the newer versions i am still working with 1.7?

I dont think it matters what OS you got resampling just takes a long time- the longer the sample the longer it takes to resample. I suggest only resampling small samples like individual drum hits.

yeh timestretching can be the same, once i left it going when i went shopping got back 2 hours later, and it just finished and the results sounded like shit. you cant go past using a computer for timestrecting. if you wanna down sample maybe do it on the computer, i like to record everything into the mp @ full stereo 44.1khz, then put the wav's on the pc for further processing and chopping. samples sound so much better going into the mpc and over to the pc as wav's, than actually sampling str8 into my DAW.
