Zip Disk Space Wierd

I'm using 100MB disks. 2000xl with 100MB Drive. 250MB Zip Drive USB to Laptop. I have formatted it to be able to transfer XL to Laptop. There is really no problem with space, 1 beat 1 disk then save work to laptop.

Never made an issue about it nor is it really a problem but when I check my Zip Disk space it only sees it as 30MB in my <Computer/Z:/Properties>. I just want to get the most out of it all...

Why does it say only 30MB?

-is it the difference in drives? (100MB in MPC & 250MB USB Drive laptop)
-is it something with the formatting?
-is it something with partioning (which I still dont quite understand)?
-is it something else?

The computer only recognizes the 30mb partition that the MPC made.

Are there any ways to fix that, so all partions are read or atleast a larger partion?

(remember I also have no idea what partioning is exactly...wether it should be read or not)
