SCSI output plus Adaptec AHA-2940AU

hallo i just received my mpc 2000xl it has scsi output on back of sampler and i would like to connect it to computer with scsi cabel and Adaptec AHA-2940AU on the other site....the thing is i dont know whaat kind of cabel it hasds to be couse there different ones ..ive heard that it s about strenght of signal and pins so....;/

ps sorry i know that it could be posted before me but i cannot find it;/

The cable to connect the MPC2000XL directly to an Adaptec 2940AU would be a SCSI-2 HD50 to SCSI-2 HD50. The same connectors is on both the card and the sampler. We sell those cables on our website but you can also get them a million other places on the interwebs.

Forgive my ignorance here but does the 2000XL support SMDI?

What do you want to do when you have it connected to the PC?

That won't work, MESA is only for some S-series samplers. It doesn't work with MPCs.

mpc-editor and a Card reader (or zip) is your best bet!!
