digital ins and outz

got a sound card with digital ins and outs hooked it up to my 2000 but can't get them to work in sync........... any ideas or does this just not work

In order for you to sync the pc with the mp you must use midi cables........The spdif if for transfering data via the digital ins and outs this way you dont lose quality when doing so.......
