k, well i got the ion usb turntable for samplin,

question 1:
is there a difference in sound quality of turntables? like can a 80 dollar table like mine, sound crappier then a numark one that costs 120?

Question 2: im pretty sure its cuz there is no pre amp, but i hooked up the turntable to the monitors, and the sound is really really really low. that should be normal without the preamp. or should u just be able to hear it little louder with out putting ure ears touching the speakers and still not barley hear the record.

im asking cuz i have a chance to return these, but hoping if its koo to use this table with the setup. cuz im worried cuz its really cheap for a turntable but the guy at sam ash told me it would be good for samplin, and my way of thought is record is a record. or does a better turntable make that record sound alot better?

i know im askin alot of noooooob questions but only got a mixer to go to complete my setup so IM ALMOST THERE!!!!!! thank you though, really i appreciate it alot.

As you are aware you need a phono-preamp or a little DJ-Mixer (most of the older models should have phono-connectors and ground-screw). A good needle is also essential. I guess since it's not a performance turntable for scratching, I'd go with one of these Audio Technica needles in order to get a good and clear sound from your vinyl gems.
