what does unbalanced out mean?

i seen on a FAQ on mac-tutor.com that the mpc200xl doesn't have balanced outs? what does this mean? is it what i think it means? one side has a higher output than the other? and if this is the case how do i fix it?

It's referring to balanced cords.

its a fancy way to say it has 1/2" jacks, and not RCA jacks. thats all you need to know right now...

ohhhhhh i understand. thanks alot for that link enotide. a balanced cable has a hot, cold and a grounding wire in it, an unbalanced has only a hot and ground wire. interesting
