Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I have another sampler running along side the MP
I am chopping and doing the same as i do on mpc like chopping each sound
thing is the sampler has a more complex adsr than im used to and on the xl where you just fade it and im getting little clicks at the end of the sample that im wanting to fade off. i adjust the end but then it clicks there, i cant quite get the hang of adsr as it either seems to make no difference or end too abruptly.
can someone advise!!

What the hell is ADSR. And what exactly are you trying to do on your 2kxl/2k

ADSR= Attack, decay, sustain and release.

if possible , you need to zoom in on the cut as much as possible and make sure you cut the sound off in a low sound peak
a point where the sound of your sample is decreasing

if the low sound peak comes too late for the loop ,i.e 1 a 2 seconds too late
you can fade it off by using the trim like function ,after you chop it in pieces,
its a little more work than your probably used to do , but it will get the clicks out
