Cardreader HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm very desperate!!!! I ordered the MCD Cardreader Kit for my MPC 2k XL from MPCSTUFF.COM. I installed OS 1.2 und installed the cardreader the right way. The JP2 setting is at Master position. But my MPC doesnt's recoginze the cardreader. There is no ATAPI in the load window. The green light of the cardreader is flashing so it's on. Can someone help me? Has anyone a smiliar problem.

You do have a CF card in the drive when you boot your MPC, right? The type of card readers sold by MPCStuff must have a card in the drive at boot and you cannot hotswap the card while the MPC is powered on.

Yes, the card is in the drive, I ordered it with the cardreader at mpcstuff.

i know this sounds so obvious but many have stumbled on this..
Make sure you firmly press the ATAPI connector in till it clicks.. your probably thinking yeah yeah.. But just go do it again and make 1000% Sure

ALSO,
is there a red line on the ATAPI connector lead. Make sure this is on the same side as the power supply all the way.

Does the card with the sounds on it read in the pc ?
