Which MPC do you think I should upgrade to ? or should i go with Roland.

Has any body ever been making a beat on their MPC2000 and one of their pads just malfunction I mean, You were hitting the pads one second making a pattern then You hit it again and it put out a weird sound . You at first think your unit is over heating so you save everything and turn it off . You give it an hour then turn it back on load everything just the way it was before you hit that same pad again and it gives off that same exact weird sound.......................IS MY MPC DYING.

Somebody please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?:

everytime I load my samples and hit the pads because I can`t wait til loading is complete.... :D
maybe look at it another way...no MPC sounds like yours!

Are you Pist or Pissed?
Same difference right? Do more troubleshooting! Try loading another sample to that pad and see what happens. Try loading that sample to another pad and see if it plays correctly! Try what Lampdog suggested! It could be a number or things minor or major. Corrupt sample or bad pad sensor.

I wouldn't jump ship and buy more gear until I knew what the problem was. If not, you could have the same problem on new gear, then find it was something simple!

Bad/jacked and unseated ram gives that sound sometimes. Check it out.

i'll pm you. I dont know if it's good price but I know that there is only one (set of two 16mb) available . If you really want it, I didnt want you to get snaked, if you don't want it, pass it along.
