pitch control slider-User replaceable?

I need to replace mine and had it done once at vst but it only lasted a couple years and i never really used it all that much- can i buy one and do it myself so i dont have to ship this ish all the way to vst again?

can you solder? its a very inexpensive part, but you need to desolder the old one and obviously solder the new one in its place.

most of the time is taken unscrewing the case etc

I need to do this also! The part is not too expensive, but soldering is required! Here's the part, but notice that the slider knob is sold separately. If you still have the old knob, you'll only need the slider!
