just bought a new compact flash card...

Hey i bought a 2 gig compact flashcard of ebay, cuz i was using the mpc 2000xl 32mb one...but my drive doesnt seem to read it? does anyone know how to make it work i also had a memory stick it says the same thing...i try to save stuff on it and it says theres no space when theres nothing on it...maybe the SCan disk ones are not compatible??

anyways someone let me no im pretty sure it fixable cuz my 32mb 1 works gr8

think the mpc will only read flash cards up to 1gb mines a scandisk 1024mb and it works ok. do a search im pretty sure that its been covered before and that youll find which cards are the best to use.

yep... if you format it in the MPC, the MPC will turn into a 1Gig, at least i know thats what mine did some how.... so now I have a 1 gig CF Card, wit 2 Gig written on it

just tried formating and it said error 02dX0002 some shit like that but i think ur right u need a 1 gig only cuz i got 2 and everyone told me 1 gig ..anyways this didnt cost me much ill ask someone to pass me a 1 gig ..anyways thx
