i know midi dont have audio but how do you do get the sound

new here,i want to know how do you record sound from your keyboard to the mpc2000xl,i know sound dont go threw midi,i dont know how to hook the outs to the mpc up,if it help i got a md1700 keyboard midi cable to the mpc,and a mixer,do i hook the mpc outs to the mixer ,or maybe the keyboard out to the mixer,dont know confused,,,,,,,,, and if so how ,

keyboard to to mic 1 or mpc to tape what need to explain the hookup, everybody explain midi and the cable,but not the actual hook up to a mixer,you got tapeout,cd in,i dont know

i found the anwser to my own shyt,to all those who just got a midi hook up to mpc ,,keyboard,and want to hear sound better yet record sound,mpc outs to,cd tape in,keyboard outs to a channel in a mixer treid mines in 9/10 channel,hope this help 4 those who want to record keyboard into a mpc,,,thanks anyway
