Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Okay i have a seq and i changed it to song okay thats done now i wanna save this on to a zip disk now when i turn the MP off and load it it plays the same way but sounds all messed up is there a way to save the song so that it plays the same way when i stuff it off and load it again cause it dosent it plays all messed what should i do ?how should i be saveing my stuff

PS can i change a drum to sound hard from the MPC or do i need a compressor :?: :?: :?: :?:

Save as follows:

APS
ALL

Make sure if you are using an external sound source that you set the program numbers on the mpc so when you re-load it it will load the information as well

When I was starting out I made the mistake of not saving the sounds after I'd tweaked them.. Lost a good beat!

If your sound is weak when you sample it, it is also weak when you play it back.. You need to have good sounds to start with, and you need to layer them and sh** like that

remeber to save often. that way if it crashes you got it backed up, you don't have to save the sounds it gets saved if you save ALL APS, remeber to save PGMS cuase that save's all your sound settings.
