Hi I've just satrted using an MPC2000XL. I just wanted to check with other users about the pads. The pads on the left seem to be a bit lower than on the right, I haven't noticed this on pictures of the XL before. also the pads on the left side seem to rub against the metal, should I open it up and re-allign or is this normal. I'm also getting a lot of double triggering and unintentional flams, is this normal?
Don't sweat the double triggering, you just have to get used to the pads and the way you play them, you'll get the hang of it.
As for the alignment, if it's gona bug you then sure open it up and put em right. when you open it up it's all one piece of rubber so there's nothing to it.
