Do you have to assign each sample you use to a different track in the main screen? How does the MPC separate, for example, each drum hit, and assign them to different pads?

I've been using my old 2k for a long time now, and never knew I could do this!

tell you theres so much you can do...well at least for someone with no musical knowledge ,notewise, measure's.. some what from djing vinyl ..but i never noticed it it just came after time2nd nature(wowsers :shock: off topic) :oops:
