Making your custom metronome sound

I was looking at youtube video the other night. This guy was using a click sound from his mpc I never heard of. Can someone tell me how to use this funtion. or how to get my clicks to how i want them to sound.I am using midi with my mpc, I dont know if that makes a diffrence becuase i won't be able to load a patch in the mpc. I looked in the manul I haven't seen anything on this. I am using 2000 xl, the guy was use a 100. I dont know if he was using JJ os maybe
