please help...

Ok so figured out how to load my drum samples onto the 2000. 1st off, can my 2 mb really only hold 6 sounds? and everytime I make a 2 bar sequence and stop recording, it doesnt let me record again on it. like some sounds are cut off or missing and I cant to start over, do u guys know wat im talking about

You need some more memory expand that shit to 32mb!

ok so if i do, i mean yea i have to or i cant do anything....but is this gonna work because im recording now and once i stop and try to record again, all my sounds are gone...so is it just the memory

NO it sounds like your hitting record + play at the same time which would erase jsut what you laid down if you want to add to your sequence then you need to use Overdub + Play

yea get more ram and you did just upgrade from the 404. that things garbage compared to an mpc

I hate to have to ask this but you are recording the new stuff on a different track right?
That and the overdub thing.
Without the ram you should have about 30 seconds I believe.
That's enough for drum hits ( usually) but you most def want that ram.
