Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

is this possible. havent really seen it anywhere in the manual. it would be quite handy.

If you mean just saving the sounds you actually used in a sequence instead of saving all the sounds of a particular program, you gotta do that manually. Just unassign the sounds you're not using then use the normal purge function. It's tedious but it saves alot of disk space.

If your just talking about taking sounds out of a seq, I think you can just select the track you put them on "open window" then delete. or you can just remove the sound from the pad you originally assigned it to.

yeh cheers, i was aware i can un-assign the sounds from the program(pads). then save it to a new pgm in a new folder. im lazy and i was hoping there may be a way i could do this quicker. solved...
