MPC 2XL/SP

I just got rid of my 2k for a 2kXL, all the guy wanted was an SP 555 so I bought one for cheap and traded it for 2KXl that doesnt even have a scratch on it so im happy as **** right now. My question, can I apply say an isolator effect form an SP 404 to say a kick drum on my XL? Im not sure how I would go about doing this...Im trying to add an effect from the 404 to a sound on my XL and then resampling it on the XL to get a new sound, any info would be appreciated....oh yeah thnx lampdog on that whole wav issue, I saved them all over againg and they work now

probably the best way thats going to work is sample in to the 404 then apply the effect then sample back into the mpc... if you want it all in the box that is. Otherwise you could do that kind of thing at mixdown stage

thats what i was thinking, thnx 4 the info guys. how can i erase a sound from my pads, im trying to look at the manual but my pc freezes when i look at pdf files

each sound is assinged in the program menu. start there and just hit the pad you want to edit then look at the screen
