Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi folks
I am new in this board and I hope someone of you can help me.
Well, I am a owner of a 2000XL and I have a litte problems with the notenumbers of the pads.

I got my MPC hooked up in Cubase and my intention is to trigger VSTi with the pads of the MPC.
Well all works perfectly but when I start my MPC the notenumber of the pads are totally disarranged what means
pad A1 has got the notenumber 37, A2 -36, A3 - 42, A4 - 82, and so on.

My question is, is there an alternative that I have got the notenumbers starting 35 at pad A1, 36 at A2 and so on from the start of the MPC without loading a program???

I hope you understand what I want.
And I am sorry for my bad english.

Nope. You can however, make a blank program with all the note numbers in the correct order which you can auto load upon booting your mpc.

Make a program, then save it as template.aps and template.all
You can set for example BPM, Overlap, etc etc and MPC will autoload everything.

The autoloading is explained in your manual.

To make this APS file go to your program screen and hit the pad you want then use the jog wheel to change the number to what you want it to be. Do this for all the pads in all 4 banks and then use the save function in the disk screen.
