lately my screen for my mpc2000 has been dimming more and more after each time i turn it on, any suggestions on what i should do?

But it could be something else like loose ribbon cable or something so I wouldn't count on it just yet gonna have do some troubleshooting.

Is it the actual writing on the LCD screen or the screen light?
Because the 2k & 2k xl have small a tube light instead of a backlight.

small tube light you say? so one could probably repair it with a couple blue led's
