Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By lord_fader Tue Nov 25, 2008 1:06 pm
i've been recording with my mpc for a while now, but i have to do each part seperate. for example the drums first, then the sample then the bass line. i was told that i could assign each part to one of the 8 outputs on the back and then put these through different channels on my external mixer. can anyone tell me how to do this?

peace

Go to mixer, push INDV then at the top of the screen, scroll 1-8 hit the pad you want on 1-8, So say you want kck on "1" hit your kck pad and set it to 1 "2" for snr.... 3 for HH, 4 for Bassline, 5, for farting sounds....And soforth. Hope I explained it okay....

that often discussed............. :(

this makes this forum that lame watching for a longer time.

read the manual, understand the manual, try what you`ve been reading, get questions that are not answered in the manual, ask precise, get answered....
that way it should go................... :(

You can also output effects through the 8outs, if you have the effects card (eb16).

Most people don't know that it seems like but yes, you can.
