is it possible to change the default name for new sounds

its a pain in the ass to type with pads.

i cant seem to find it in the manual. iv read it like 4 times.

the reason i ask because i chop and eq my samples before i put them into the mpc because chopping is a **** in the mpc

Why are you asking for default names anyway if you import the samples from your PC?

maybe he records them? i dont know. typing with the pads is not that bad unless your making the name 20 characters or something. keep it simple. i actually just use the wheel and arrows to name my sounds.
