Drum pads not responding

The drum pads on my mpc 2000 aren't responding well...most times I have to pound on'em just to get the sample to play! Does anyone got any insight on this problem!?!

Do you have it on Full Level If not, turn it on and see what happens...

they are getting old. but if they still work then full level will be your friend

Yeah...most of the time I work with it on Full Level! I actually might have found the problem...where the sensors under the pads plug in was loose
