Like I said, that's my problem: Manually increasing/decreasing the values doesn't seem to do a thing.

mr_debauch: Good suggestion indeed, however, I didn't find that function. There's a "Velocity curve" setting on the Microkorg (which would seem to serve a similar function), but it didn't help with my problem..


There is a Full level button on your mpc that will let you play all your notes the same volume, but you would have to trigger the micro korg using the mpc pads.

Again, changing the velocity on the MPC has never been the problem. The problem: the sound outputted by the Microkorg is always at the same level no matter the velocity specified in STEP EDIT.

I think I've got it though-- it seems that certain patches in the MicroKORG have velocity sensitivity switched off, so it's no wonder the global settings I tweaked didn't produce any results.
