If anybody can help me with my MPC problem. See what its doing is when I cut it on its set to my Zip Drive as the primary loading device. But when I go to load from it its saying "NO SCIS DEVICE" even tho it is set to SCSI ID5 an the MPC is set to read that drive.. What Im I doing wrong...

Hey, happy new year!

I had some issues with mine as well, and what I did is:

Go into load, get the message saying "No scsi device" and eject the zip disk, then push it back in. After a few seconds of loading, the "loadsound" will be gone. Now I usually push the load button, and it works.

ps..I used mine as scsi-0, not scsi-5. Not sure if this makes any difference

Hope it helps

Does the zip have two SCSI connections on the back? Which connection are you plugging in to? It should be a male to male SCSI cable going from the MPC into the connection which says zip. The drive also has to have two little grey switches on the back.
