Will this setup work?

MPC2kxl >-< SCSI box w/2 connections with HD in it >-< to PC via SCSI2USB adapter.

If you set the MPC and PC to terminate it should work shouldnt it?

I dare you to try that

I don't see why not. Has anybody actually tried that yet? I guess you just have to make sure the SCSI->USB adapter can handle those types of drives that the MPC can read, which are usually older models.

Sorry I can't contribute to the question posted as topic for this thread (but from what I have read I don't think that set up is possible).

However, maybe you all can help with a related question; I been searching the forum for a list or an answer to this...

What external scsi hard drives do you all have or are compatible with the MPC 2000xl?

I would like to know if anyone has tested any cheetah drives on the xl.

You can have 2 devices connected and reading from one SCSI drive at a time,
You can have 2 devices connected 1 is reading second is saving at a time
you CAN NOT have 2 SCSI devices saving to one hard drive at a time.
that is what I am sure of.

Peace.
