MPC Repair Center???

Hi everyone... I was at a friends house the other day working on some music and we ran in to a pretty bad situation. We were working on a new song and we switched the compact flash card to load a sample and by doing that all the work we were doing got complete erased. Weird??? Yea!!! We can live with remaking the song but the worst part is that when we pulled out the compact flash card that caused the problem we noticed that one of the little brass pins from the inside of the MPC broke off into the compact flash card. I already fixed the card, pulled the pin out and copied the data off the card for a back up so we are cool there...

I am trying to find out where and how to go about replacing or repairing the compact flash card reader on the inside of his MPC2000XL. Anyone have any ideas? I thought there was a service center in my area (Irvine, CA also Orange Country, CA) but I guess I was wrong? Anyway, I'd appreciate any information that could help!
