pad mute

hi

i just bought a 2000xl, and im trying to figure out if its possible to make one pad mute more than two others.
i realize that by entering PROGRAM, then PARAM, and then pressing OPEN WINDOW on the Voice Overlap field, i can
assign two pads to be muted by the one im currently on. be that as it is, what i really want is for every pad to mute
all the other pads. is this possible, and how? thanks

Its not possible on XL /Classic. You can only assing one pad to mute two pads.

if you use the simult option to automatically play a 2nd pad with nothing on it you can have the blank pad mute 2 more. you can repeat this to mute more again. ive never tried this but i hear it works.
