SCSI <-> IDE in mpc2000

I was just wondering if anyone tried to use such converter http://www.span.com/catalog/product_inf ... ts_id=1058
in his mpc2000 classic? would this work?
What im talkng about is to make a mod first to make the scsi port internal to connect the converter and then a CF reader/writer.

Anyone?help

This one seems to be a lot cheaper than the ones that is offered by Polish AKAI sales representative.

Your Version from the Cardreader inter, must it Solder too, how u do ??

There is no SCSI socket on the motherboard of the MPC2000 instead of the XL which have.
The SCSI output at the back off the MPC2000 is directly solder on the motherboard.
So you have to solder.

I know that i will have to solder in order to install this mod, I was just wondering if the device in a link provided in the other post would work...
