Kev Brown at 2000xl

Since I saw this movie, I was direct in love with the 2000xl.. And bought it.. Still in love with it and learning everyday from it..

But I don't understand something.. when Kev says he's changing the pitch, he's going mad fast to shift + program? just mad fast! what's he doing right there?

Looks like he's typing in the pitch value and pressing enter to keep it.

I can see what he's doing now...I do it a lot
Because he's choped the sample he cant change the main pitch of the sample, he has to change each individual samples pitch.
He's in program mode, hitting each pad to select the sound and then changing it's pitch by typing it in

Looks and sounds like he's hitting like 1 0 ENTER to change the pitch 1 half step lower.
I love this beat too, mad Premier influence.
Anyone check that mixtape Kev did with LMNO? Might be old news to some, but I liked it, all Kev beats.

yeah the Selective Hearing Joint, i dont care to much for LMNO's flows, but those beats are nice

seems like the audio and the video dont match up in the video, same when you guys watch it?

I actually think that the two work really well together. I'm not a huge fan of LMNO's voice, but he has intensity that goes well with Kev's production. Plus you can't fake when you're on some bi-coastal 'ish...

It took me a minute to catch it.. but my problem at first was that I didn't realise that the video and sound was out of synch a bit... well at least for me. So when he pushed something the sound didn't corispond correctly... but after i realised I was able to follow a bit better.

That might be because most of the beats on that album are kev's old work. Like around the I do what I do time. Check out his 'Beat Tape #2'. Alot of the beats used on the album are off this beat tape cd he put out or it got leaked.
