Yes I have the 8-outs expansion. I also went to the store and got myself a S/Pdif-cable but when I arrived back to home I figured out that I also need a adapter to hook up my s/pdif (rca) cable to mpc:s 1/4" input.

Wait, you have rca digital or 1/4 digital?

The rca mpc digital connectors are the standard. There was someone else here with older
1/4 digital connections on mpc2kxl, I don't think they ever got them to work correctly.

I have 1/4" Digital ones on my Mutec 8-out board from an S2000 as well. Never knew there were ones with RCA as well...but I never tried to utilize mine yet.

Look closely at Jacpots digital connectors, they are rca, that is the
stock akai 8out board for mpc's, not the one that people get from the S series.

Mine is the same way.

Yeah the 8outs work fine, but the 1/4 digital out, there was a guy here who just couldn't get it to work for anything. Someone else said it didn't work. This was about a month ago in a thread somewhere though.

@ yarr sorry for that news but it most possible it won't work.
