Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

The killer is there's likely one out there.

People still come up with boxed and new Nintendos, Commodore 64s . . . stuff put into storage and forgotten about.

My dream is finding an SP at a garage sale that some mom took out of her son's room after he moved out -- going for like $30.

When I first got into producing I tracked down an Atari ST that had been bought as a present and had only been out of the box once and then stashed away in the loft! Good times.

I know Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) has 3 or 4 never even opened S950's for when his studio ones break. He told me he somehow persuaded Akai to part with them long after they had stopped making them.

Do you think they'd turn down -- say, $10k for a couple S950s? That's probably the type of money that exchanged hands.
