any one in east or N london teach me howto chop willpay cash

any one from east or north london willing to teach me how to sample and chop samples and programing them to make beats , am willing to pay per hour, as its too hard reading manual , i need some one on one teaching
willing to pay £5 per hour or more ,

I've got a few DVDs I'll be putting on Ebay in the next couple of weeks. I'm from the UK but not London. I can let you know when I list them if you want. They're pretty good for beginners.

When you say it's too hard to read the manual, do you mean you are unable to read or just too lazy to read it? You should read through it. I just have, though I used the DVDs to get started quickly. I'm guessing you're new to the whole music making thing though, in which case, it could get confusing following the manual. It assumes you have prior basic musical knowledge.

I just bought myself a copy of this: http://www.mpc-samples.com/product.php/48/0/ It's basically the manual explained in Laymans terms and extra hints and tips. Gotta be cheaper than paying someone per hour.

Not trying to be patronising or obvious, but It's all about practice mate. How long you been writing? I've been at it for about 7 years and I'm only just starting to get somewhere...

got the mpc about 2 month now , i,ve mastered the sequencing bit, but am having a hard time getting old song samples to sync with the metronme, nore can i get the chipmonk sound, thanks for those links am looking for reviews about them right now

well, alot of old songs are played by real players, and the timing is not perfect. so you have to chop the loop into pieces where you can play it back into perfect timing. as for the chipmunk sound you do that by pitching the sample up. and yeah i feel you on being confused since your new, but if you read around to other sources it help you understand, so always keep the manual, but search the internet for info and it'll be easier to comprehend.

plus, dont bog yasself down with the chipmunks thing....its played out...,..you can get that by sampling on 45 and timestretching anywayz

u bought an mpc...learn it...or jus giv in.

Do whatever you have to do to learn.I mean alot of people learn hands on.And if you think that's the best method,do it.I personally would just have the manual aside the mpc as i work but that's me.Do you bro.

Nah man don’t quit, be strong man… ask your self what made you get the MPC in the first place if you stick at it, two years from now you’ll be knocking out some sh!t and dropping advice for the new newbies lol
If you end up being a hot beatsmith IT WILL BE because you had those tough days where you felt like you weren’t going nowhere but you fought back.

I ain’t had mine that long but I’m finding all these video’s on the site helpful, the manual is long at times but it has ALL the answers.
I’d say just don’t take it all so seriously and learn to experiment with it, go into options and commands and press things to see what it does, if all fails you’ve only got to switch it off and on and start again.

thanks for the motivation and help , Ive bought that beat making ebook , its more easier to read and understand. with lots of tricks , am getting there now. my chops are getting better. bless to all the cool peeps on here ,
