Whaddup ya'll...I have a lil dilemma that myself and a friend have tried figuring out, but for some reason we can't get this to work. I've searched the forums and only turned up a small portion of the questions I need answered. Ok, lets see if the knowledgeable can help me out on this one: For my production set up, I have an mpc 2000xl, a Korg Triton Studio, and cubase Sx. The mpc2xl has 2 midi in's and 2 midi outs. The triton has 1 midi in, 1 midi out, and 1 midi thru. My Delta Sound card has 1 midi in, 1 midi out and I also have an m-audio usb to midi cable that might come in handy in this equation. What I am tryin to do is make the mpc sync with cubase and control the triton as well. The way I normally have my configz is that I have the out/in of the triton hooked up to the out/in of the mpc ...but when I make my beats I usually make my drums on the mpc, sequence the beat on the mpc, and I grab additional sounds from the triton which are midi'd to the mpc (and played on the triton keys, not on the mpc pads) ,.,.Does anyone know how to get cubase into the equation? Cause I want to continue to make beats in the format that I make them, but at the same time, I wanna be able to flip thru my vst's from the computer , play them through my triton, and be able to sequence them thru the mpc. Can anyone in they right mind help me out with this configuration? I just need to step it up and be able to track my beats on cubase or nuendo,.,.someone please help!
