Anyone here use MPC Editor ? Is it worth it ? On the website it said it can't do transfer via SCSI can it do it through 100zip or through CF ?

Yeah, I agree even though I've only used it once. I bought it over a year ago and it's easy to use and def. speeds things up.

I downloaded the demo but the set up exe refuses to launch properly, anyone have any advice ? Im using Stuff it as my compression program maybe that could be the problem, anyone got any suggestions ?

My install was kinda jacked up too. But I got it working.
The main benefit I noticed is that you can search through wav after wav, gig after gig on your PC, (be sure to check auto-play) and just select the samples you want. save as PGM to CF or ZIP and load to the MP.

Can you audition from the CD-ROM drive? Here is why ask...
I used the MPCPGMMaker and couldn't get it to work on OSX when creating programs for the MPC3000. Since I have 100's of CD's full of samples, I could create programs on my PC and then export them to 3000 or 2000XL via ZIP or CDR.

its well worth it. bought it a few months back and it makes life so much easier. Ul find that u just make program after program....hurrah for MPC EDITOR!!
One thing tho, I'm switchin computers, from one PC to the next, so if I transfer over the program, will I have to pay again???
