lol...

i see yall got jokes... i deserved that-- i guess.

i can just use the pads and numeric pads. i chop wit recycle anyways, so i dont really need the jog wheel. it just pisses me off that i got a broke part on my equipment.

nah Nicole you didnt offend me.. and thanks for your advice.

prior to posting i did a search, and all i could find was what you said about soldering. being that posts were real old, i was hoping that there were newer ideas out there--- but i guess not.

I think you should quit hounding people, what's wrong man?

cooocooo1 does it all the time but he has a certain "flair" and he's an equal opportunity employer, he gives it to EVERYONE raw, lol. This here you are doing seems to be personal, and as such it doesn't need to be out here like this.

even though you chop in another program that jog wheel is a necessity. is it the outer wheel or the main wheel?

The wheel rotary knob is made different inside, If you take the mpc apart you'll see that it is not the same as the 2k classic knob peice, there's no exchnaging of parts that can be done for that.

the jog wheel is one piece on the xl..unlike the classic that has a two piece wheel.

i havent tried using it without the wheel yet, but i hope it doesnt fkk up my whole workflow for all the other shht.
