Clear Unused SAmples

I loaded my program and I have a lot of unused samples that I didnt used in my sequence. Is there a way the MPC cant detect which samples are not in the sequence so that I wont have to manually go through each pad and look. I know about the purge feature, but i think thats just to delete samples not assigned to a pad?

Is using the zoning feature on the xl instead of manually copying/chopping samples lazy?

If there's a feature that will make things easier for me, i'd like to know about it...

yeah in the time your spending waiting for an answer, you couldve manually went through each pad

I agree with you to a certain extent.... but you have to remember no machine can do everything and why would you want it to.......cats who have new equipment have it so easy if all they ever known was shiz that came out in the last 5-6 years.....

Can't remember offhand where exactly it is, don't have have the machine on right now, but somewhere there is a 'delete unused samples' function. That's on the xl, tho, don't know about the classic.

I never said that I have better tracks than you....and I'm not gonna say I don't......don't think I'm some little kid.........there is no quick way to get "e-stripes" .....online battles mean nothing to me and I ain't gonna partake in it....it is what it is....and you are just gonna have eat that...and any other LAME comments I have to make....oh yea the power feature on the MPC is the little button on the back that sinks in when you touch it
