Whatup,

had my MPC2000XL MCD for little over half a year, and Ive been having bugs but now its got real serious. I cant do shit really. Check out the movie, im too pissed off to start explaining. What the heck do i do? Ive reinstalled the OS. Everything was working perfect for a few months now.. As you can see in the video im pushing all buttons possible to get out of the error thing.. Most of the time I dont even get to load a beat before it crashes....

A friend of mine had a problem something like this it turned out it was the ram so first try changing the ram you have installed and see what that does and what sample was that you were sampling in the vid

hey thats def. a ram problem man. If u have two chips (16x2) take one out, and see if the problem persists. it might just be one bad chip or two Poorly made ones. either way, this has all the features of bad memory, or memory gone bad. good luck man.

Thanks for all the responses... So I tried taking the RAM out (i only took out the expansion tho, 2x16, i dunno if i was supposed to take out the 2mb thing, couldnt find it) and i started the mpc and it said 2mb ram - but it still crashed. i put the 16mbx2 ram back in and it said 32mb, and still crashed. i even tried just putting one 16mb in, it said 18mb ram and crashed.

What the heck do I do? I reinstalled the OS multiple times. Sometimes the machine functions for a while if i I just hit it really hard..

might be a defect with the flashrom(intel), which holds the OS and the internal 2Mb.
