TIPS : HOW TO MAKE ANY CHOPS OF ANY LENGH FIT ANY BPM

hi guys!

i'm new to beatmakin on the mp

i use the bpm match ajust the pitch in trim mode and edit and i put the same bpm as it is in the bpm match mode and after zone and select the small part iwant and then make another pattern

what's your way guys?

to this day i don't think i've really used the bpm match once to make a beat...

are there an inconvniant to use the bpm match thats why you dont use it?
do you loop it in loop mode before use the tap tempo and the change the tune
?

and if you want to match 1 chop of 2bars and the other one of 4bars do you suceed making it sounds the same ?

yeah, the bpm match function always seemed kind of a hassle to me. i did it with tuning from the start.

i'll take the original whole sample and tune it to what i like. i'll tap tempo it to get an idea of the bpm. then i tune the chops from it to the same setting and adjust the tempo for final touches so there's no choppyness or gaps. that's the usual method but it varies

yeah, if you chop things right and tune it all to the same setting things should sound the same and match up

well i asked a similar question last night and then i just figured out my own little way of making the sample play at the same or similar bmp as a beat

just make a beat pattern & play it at different tempos, while holding down the sample playing at the same time until it lines up

then time stretch the lady's private parts

may i let a lil bit of silence or sound at the very end of the sample to looped it up perfectly?

What if your chop is just a lil to fast or slow? Than what do you do pitch it up or down a few notches? But what happens if after you pitch it up or down you lose the tune? Now you have to tune your other keys to fit tha sample??
Y not BPM match the sample to change the pitch with out changing the tune/tempo.

You do know that bpm match and time stretch are bassically the same thing right?? So you guys mean to tell me you never time stretch??!

I used to never time stretch a few years back but that was real ignorant of me

like perks said just use the tap tempo button for an average idea and then chop it up.

This has been said endless times but the more you get your chops and work flow down the more fun your gunna have making beats. The better yours chops the better your availabilty to get creative. No half steppin when it comes to your chops and laying out your samples.

sometimes to if needed i take my sample, pitch up or down or find the way i like it, then tap tempo and loop the sample up for an accurate bpm and then go back and timestretch (if needed) before chopping the sht up and then well chop. remeber there are 100s of approaches on how to go about this. Just got to do what works for you ... last but not least TURN IT UP!
