Give Much Love for The 2000 Classic

I have a 1000 with JJOS and am still saving up to buy a 2000 Classic.....
No hate for that machine at all......

as the name says it'a a ..... C L A S S I C ... I own it and love it ....

Anyway you can't deny that the new features on the XL are good for the workflow ...

If it's your only sampler multi bank, folders on storage and chopping to pads make it a better machine than the classic.
If you use it for sequencing external stuff then... it's not a big deal.

i got a 2000 also and i can't live without it f*ck the new mpc's i'll stick with the classics.

Oh man I'm so with that! I don't digg ANY of the new samplers under Akai's new owners aka Numark. I feel they are all watered down MPC's that get rid of the whole essance of an MPC. But without all that marketing and shit Akai would of gone down big time so I guess Numark saved the brand...after all that is why they brought them to save them as no one was buying S* series samplers no more and the Z series was garbage/a complete failure.
The last greatest MPC they did was the 4000, 5000 looks and feels wack, anything after the 4000 me no digg lol

I love my 2000 classic and others MPC are shit !! it's tha best !!! got the best workflol ...best sound ... best converters and it's the coolest looking ever yeeehaaaa !!!!!!

This machine was 2 years ago only a couple of parts.
I bought it from a guy who was a member of e band and sold it to me as parts.
The machine was like shit.

It took me about 2 days to rebuild the MPC2000.
The parts which were damaged, I have replaced and did the SCSI modification at the same time.
The MPC have a new screen, new slider, new buttons and I have cleaned the machine.
Also I did the cardreader modification and put de EB-16 and 8 out into the MPC2000.

Great machine, which kick ass.

I specifically chose the 2k because it exemplifies the MPC sound. None of the other models can touch it.

Now if I could only find a damn screen for it...Anybody?
