Unless you're not careful a PC can't mess up your CF card.

Kingston. Sandisk's are overpriced. There's a sticky on what CF cards are recommended.

So check it out. I just bought a Kingston 2 gb CF card. And every time I try
saving something it say's "DISK READ ERROR". Can this be a faulty card?,does
the MPC not support CF card's more than 1 gb?. I have the MCD from MPC stuff.com.
And if that's the case if the Reader only uses 1 gig card's I'm **** cuz apparently
they don't manufacture them any more.

Ive been experiencing some problems with my card reader. I'm using
a kingston 1gig CF card it seemed to be working fine. Until I just tried
saving a beat today. All programs & sounds it say's "unexpected end-of-file".
Anyone know what this means.I thought their would be no problems with compact
flash.
