Saving on 2k XL doesn't work, cf issues?

Such an issue has been endlessly debated in here.

Start with the very first rule out of all: DON'T use 1GB CF cards with the 2kxl. Go for 512MB or less. If the problem insists, then it has to be your card reader.

I think the case isn't the 1gb card. There is some kind of malfunction in my card reader - when I insert the cf-card into the reader and do it so the card doesn't swang at all, the reader doesn't recognize it. When I move it a little bit in the reader - I guess ya'll know SMC's readers, there is a little space in the slot so the card can be moved a little though it's still inserted - then it recognizes it.

And the 1gb issue isn't valid also because both of the cards worked with 2k xl for half a year.

I use a 4gb card and i don't have any problems at all.Although i can only use 1gb of it for now but it works so i can't complain.

Just sounds like the reader bro.
