Syncing the xl with logic is a pain in the arse, but if you want to trigger the sounds in logic, i'd recommend you get a midi to usb cable.

Pretty sure u need an audio interface and also midi cables to connect ur mpc and ur logic...thsts kinda all I know! Hope that helps!
