MPC2000 and MPC2000XL VGA Output is here!

Ok, here is a screenshot of the VGA output from the LCD. Our MPC is still out of commission until the new board arrives, but this is the actual LCD output. If we scale it to be huge, it may not work with newer monitors. So, we'll compromise and keep the aspect ratio of the LCD, which means it should look good on widescreen monitors.

We can change the color to anything...but this is a nice blue that is easy on the eyes.

If you can dream it, we can do it.

so is this going to be an external box that both MPC and monitor connect to or an extra port that we will have to fabricate space for?

We got our MPC back in operation. We have another PCB layout coming next week that is set up for VGA conversion. We'll have video of MPC data live on a monitor shortly thereafter.

man, you are a godsend !! for so long i could not figure out what i was going to do with the mpc. but you have made all of our dreams a reality. VGA OUT is the shiiit ! and you are the man. i keep my eyes on this thread because i dont want to miss out. many many thanks for what you do

Do you think the VGA mod has anything to do with the MPC failing?

Any chance of an affordable VGA card for the 3000?

Even though I use my MV I'd be down for that because the MPC 2000 is still dope and i use them both... Overkill?? maybe but the combo is tight!! heck i still use my ASR PRO as well maybe i missed it but did you post a pic of the screen?
