Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Not really related to Craigs List, but Once I bought a MPC2000 Classic via ebay (I think it was a around $250), replaced with new pots, modded to add an internal SCSI port (I spent whole day soldering, I don't know why I was so obsessed over the mod), added CF reader (!), but I still didn't like the 2000 classic, so I sold it on ebay. I think I sold it for $450, (I did not make profit at all.)
After that, I bought a beaten up 2000XL with 8 out, replaced all the buttons and job wheel, and note variation fader, and added IDE CF reader. I like XL.

When I bought my first MPC...it was a 2K Classic... I paid 79 dollars for it... on ebay...dude said it needed a new screen...i was like ok, thats fair...got it...there was ONE line...that came and went...I was so hype lol had it for a few months then sold it on craigslist for 300 and got a 1000...only reason I sold it is because i need folders when saving stuff. now i have a 1000, 2000xl roland juno g and a mv8000...the mv feels weird...
