I actually saw a Buy It Now one at $2500 a few weeks ago. That box and 808's are just insanely priced usually even factoring in the rarity.

Yeah its for real. But he wasent that easy too trick. Maybe he followed me on here. (lol)
Shit aside. We made a deal, and im paying 680 bucks + the mpc for the SP. Its the old model sp, in near mint with the grey sides and a working floppy and all.
Cant wait to get my hands on the SP, even though that it means, that i might go out and find myself a s950/s1000 for the longer samples and chops. Its gonna be hard to start sampling  , From 2 gb cf card to to 10 secs and retro floppy disks..

It's never a good idea to discuss potential deals on here.

You gotta be savvy enough to known a good deal where it comes by, and close it out as quickly as possible before the seller has time to 're-assess' his position.

You still got a good deal on that SP1200.

Yo, im using my 2kxl only for sequencing now. I'm making full tracks on s950 with default memory installed, and im having fun on it! Waitin' for my sp1200 parcel too! Sample 45 +7 pitch and have fun with your sp1200/s950!

def get the card reader for the sp1200!!!

it doesnt take 1 min to 2 min to load sounds now! and you can back them all up... i had hundreds of floppies laying around... still have a mountain to go through and back up. but the time you spend on a SP is def worth getting a card reader
